Yay, Potty!

Last night and this morning, I decided I was ready to start using the big potty on my own! I haven't used a diaper except out of the house in almost a week now. I just decided last week when Mommy and Daddy bought me big girl panties that I was ready to use the potty all the time. For the first few days, I had about an accident a day, but I've been good about making it to the potty since! I'm still trying to learn to poop in the potty--I've done it a few times, but it's harder! I like my panties, though, and I like not having to wear diapers. Mommy and Daddy are surprised at how fast I went from diapers to no diapers, but really? I don't see why! They should know I was just waiting until I was totally ready! And I'm so glad they waited with me. I love the putting the peepee in the big potty ritual and I love flushing! When I miss the potty with my poopoo, though, I run and get a wipe. I'm trying to do it myself, but Mommy always catches me and helps! I want to do it myself! Ahh, well, I suppose she can help, it does make it easier and faster.

Anyhow, I'm potty learned!

Skating and other big stuff

Today was a big day--Daddy stayed home today for a little while so he could take Mommy to get something called an ultrasound. They said it showed the baby on the monitor--I have no idea what I was looking at, but I didn't see a baby! I keep checking my belly to see if it's getting big like Mommy's!

And while Daddy was at work, Mommy said I could try out my skates. Boy were they fun!

Well, that's all for now, enjoy some pictures!

Dragon!

I have a new word--"Gagon!" That's how I say 'dragon' and it's because I really love Mommy's new wallpaper on the computer. Sometimes I shorten it to "gogo" because that's easier, but when I don't want to be mistaken, it's gagon!

And here's the wallpaper:

It's been really hot lately, so after a walk to the mail box, Mommy and I have been playing in the pool in the back yard. It's fun!

And I asked Mommy to pain my toes and she did, so I sat really still until she told me they were dry. I think it's fun to point out that our toenails are the same color. And I still can't find that baby she says is in her tummy. I look and look, but she says we have to wait until a few months after my second birthday to meet the baby. I don't want to wait! I like babies!

I also like toilet paper--I like to wipe my bottom and blow my nose! And I love brushing my teeth!

Water play time!

So, this weekend was really hot so Mommy and Daddy took me to the water playground and set up my pool. The water playground was fun after I was done being scared of getting water in my face (I don't like water in my face) but I really prefer playing in the tub! The pool was like a HUGE tub and Mommy got in, too! Unfortunately, there was a leak in the air part and it deflated so we didn't get to play long. Mommy says they're going to get it replaced and aunt Neenee said she'd come play with us!

Pediatrician update

Well, yesterday, first of all, I put my shoes on all by myself! Yay!!

Today I went to the pediatrician and I'm 24 lbs, 9oz and 34 inches tall. I grew 3 inches! That's tall and average weight. My iron was 11.4, so it was good. Then we went to play at the park--that was fun! Then we went out to play with Sarah and Rebecca and ate fondu at the Melting Pot, then we walked to Barnes and Noble on the plaza after Rebecca left.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to me! Yesterday, I got in a new tooth--meaning I have eleven now! SO, this morning I woke up and Mommy was there, acting very excited. Soon, I saw why!

So, after hugging my new giant duck, I got all the presents out of my basket, including clothes from Great-Grandma Jodie and Great-Grandpa Neal in California (who also gave me the giant duck) and a soft lamb from Grandma Sharon! Then Mommy showed me the big present from Daddy and her--a Little People's Zoo! We got it out and played with it a little and I LOVE it! Then, Mommy took me to the potty and I peed and then she put me in one of my new cloth diapers and got me dressed up:
So we could go Easter Egg hunting!! We had to get Daddy up, who was very tired and hard to wake up, but he got up and we all went out and I had a lot of fun finding all my eggs! Although, I didn't understand at first.
I tried to give my basket back to Mommy, I didn't know why I needed it outside. She kept telling me to look for eggs.
I sat on my ride-on and tried to understand what she meant. Where could these eggs be?
Oh, I get it!! Wow, this is fun!! I played with my ball, too.

Hey, is that another egg over there?

Hooray for me!! I clapped because I know I did a good job finding and collecting all my eggs! I got distracted before the last one when I found out--THEY OPEN!! Oh, my gosh, so exciting! There were yummy treats inside! Well, off to eat my goldfish and Reeses eggs (I don't like jelly beans)!
